Ian Pearce was appointed Operations Director for BWT Alpine Formula One Team in 2025 continuing a successful career as a fixture of Enstone since he joined the team in 2001.

Ian’s Formula One career began in 1991 when he joined Williams as a Hydraulics Technician where he was involved in numerous championship victories during his time at the team. He later moved to Arrows as Head of Hydraulics before taking on similar roles with Honda Racing Development and Prost Grand Prix.

Ian joined Enstone, then competing as Benetton, during the 2001 season as Sub Assembly Manager, a role he held for nearly 12 years, during which time, the team achieved two Drivers’ and Constructors' Championships. Ian was made Head of Production in 2013 and then Head of Supply Chain in 2020. In May 2025, Ian was promoted to his current role of Operations Director for the team.
