BWT Alpine Formula One Team today announces that Mike Elliott is joining the team as Chief Technical Officer. Elliott joins the team to lead and oversee the technical and engineering functions at the team’s factory at Enstone.

Elliott returns to Enstone, having previously worked at the team as Principal Aerodynamist from 2008 to 2012. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having worked in Formula One for 23 years at Renault, McLaren, and most recently with Mercedes as Chief Technical Officer.

He has a proven track record in the sport, having contributed to an impressive 8 Constructors’ and 8 Drivers’ Championships. Elliott’s arrival at Enstone strengthens the team’s technical capabilities as the team looks to build on the improved performances on track and close the gap to the top four teams.
