BWT Alpine Formula One Team celebrated its close relationship with Jeremy Clarkson and its Oxfordshire home with a special visit to The Farmer's Dog Pub, in nearby Burford, on Sunday 6 September, race day at the Italian Grand Prix.

• BWT Alpine Formula One Team took over Jeremy Clarkson's local pub, The Farmer's Dog, on Sunday 6 September to watch the Italian Grand Prix where Pierre Gasly sensationally started from Pole Position in Monza
• The event marks the latest chapter between the team and Jeremy following on from the British Grand Prix collaboration, when Diddly Squat Farm Shop supplied the team at one of Formula One's most iconic races in July
• On Sunday, The Farmers Dog looked different to normal with an F1 Takeover to watch Pierre launch from Pole Position
• Hundreds turned out to take part in Pit-Stop challenges on a previously used, race-spec Formula One Car, and could have a go at driving Monza aboard Trak Racer Simulators

Following on from the hugely successful collaboration at this year's British Grand Prix, where Jeremy's Diddly Squat Farm Shop provided locally-sourced food to fuel the team on race day, as well as Hawkstone celebrations for the team's Formula One podiums in Monaco in 2023 and São Paulo in 2024, the popular local pub played host to the Enstone-based team, bringing a Formula One flavour to Sunday.

And, to make the occasion even more special, Pierre Gasly lined up on Pole Position for the first time in his career, and the first-ever Alpine pole.

Travelling just over 12 miles from its factory, the team brought along a Formula One show car for pub visitors to take part in Pit Stop Challenges, Trak Racer Simulators and a merchandise stand exclusively selling team products. Combined with The Farmer's Dog's excellent locally-sourced produce, it contributed to an exciting race day, topped off with a viewing of the Italian Grand Prix in the pub garden, made extra special by Pierre's stunning Pole Position the day before.

Jeremy passed on the crowd's best wishes, and his own support, for Pierre and “the Chipping Norton Formula One Team” in a live link with Sky Sports F1 as the French driver geared up for his first ever start from P1. Jeremy then judged a competitive Pit Stop head-to-head between teams from his pub and farm before watching the 53-lap race amongst Alpine supporters and team members cheering on Pierre and his team-mate, Franco Colapinto.
